Rob Szeliga [rsz], born in '82, raised in the magic-roundabout-town of Swindon, UK, now living in Tokyo, Japan.

I'm a musician-sound-artist. I work with sound, electronic and acoustic, I like the quiet and the loud and am committed to Deep Listening.

In the summer of 2004 upon completing my undergraduate studies in Creative Music Technology, I escaped to the hot spring waters of the Japanese countryside to work as an English school teacher and to study Nagauta shamisen music. Three years later I relocated south to the warm santai-flavours of Yogyakarta in central Java, Indonesia, to study the Javanese Gamelan. In the summer of 2008 I received a Monbukugashou scholarship to carry out Soundscape research in Japan.
